Small Island, big Impact: Jersey’s stories, landscapes and beaches were brought to millions of German TV screens on 18th May. A full 90-minute episode about Jersey of Germany’s most popular travel show “Wunderschön” has been filmed over the course of two weeks by a production team in the summer of 2024 and the result finally went live on public TV channel WDR in prime time recently.

“Wunderschön” – or “Wonderful” in English – has been a staple on German TV for decades and it inspires about two million viewers per episode about travel destinations near and far. In addition to the live TV screening, the show is available on YouTube and ARD’s streaming platform.
