Travel Wisconsin is now represented by TMR. Wisconsin impresses with its unique geographical location: the state borders Lake Michigan to the east, while Lake Superior forms its northern border. In the west, the mighty Mississippi flows and characterises the landscape. Around half of Wisconsin is covered by dense forests, complemented by around 15,000 inland lakes and a network of over 130,000 kilometres of rivers and streams. In addition to the breathtaking nature, the lively cities of Milwaukee and Madison are also worth a visit, offering cultural highlights and urban charm.

The state’s rich cultural heritage is reflected in many places: in Lambeau Field, the legendary stadium of the Green Bay Packers, which has been making football history since 1957, in the Milwaukee Mile, the oldest horse racecourse still in operation in the world, and not least when enjoying the regional specialities – excellent cheese and traditional beer.
