Delicious wines with colourful names grow on the steep vineyards at the river Mosel near the small wine towns of Klüsserath, Köwerich and Pölich. Their names tell stories of the beautiful Mosel valley as well as little incidences of the winegrower's everyday life. The winery is a modern family-owned business with a long tradition and belongs to the Top 100 of the best German wineries. Apart from Riesling and Burgunder wines, winegrower Bernhard Kirsten produces champagne, as well as schnapps made of pears, yellow plums and quinces.
